i'm so stressed up...i dunno how to make myself feel better....the moment i am alone...i start to feel this way...but luckily it went away when i was with the boys...but once shaun n andrew got out of the cab...it started all over again...the shitty feeling overwhelmed my heart..i realised i cant be alone...but i have to....wish i have a dog to hug nw...at least it will help to calm mi down....right...soft toys doesnt help....

cant imagine the feeling of waking up in the morning...cuz i cant predict how the day will be like...wish i can slp forever and never be awake to face this cruel and cold world...smtimes i wish i was born as smone's precious pet...eat..slp..play...and having a good owner...dun have to worry abt anything...

tokking on the phone reminded mi of a sad past...maybe it's the cause of everything tt had happened...the cause of the fear in me....i dunno...but it's sucky cuz it's wayyyyyy tooo long ago...i shd have gotten over it....but dreaming of it twice in a wk kinda made things worse......

alamak

first day of cny...had checked-in to the chalet...on the way back was informed tat mum's passport was not stamped when she returned from JB...the singapore immigration officer had advised that she has to go back and stamp her passport..but the weird thing is..she is able to be in the kitchen frying beehoon nw!!!! why didnt the officer make it compulsory for her to return to JB ASAP?!?! now the reason why she did nt u-turn to JB as it was jammed all the way to sin..so she tot she can go return to jb to stamp her passport later on....but WTF?!?!?! why is there a loophole in the law of msia and sin?? why is she allowed to be back home cooking now!?!? stupidity!!!!

the reason why her passport wasnt stamped is becuz my clever dad left out her passport. then why is msia immigration officer so toot?!?! COZ WHY!!!! their windows are allllllll tinted!!! even if there are extra ppl in the car they wouldnt even f**king noe!!!omg..plain ridiculous!!!!

i duno if you ppl noe about the recent case of a singaporean woman whose ppt wasnt stamped on her way back as well..she was asked to return to jb to stamp it...upon her arrival..she was accused of being an illegal immigrant!! and was detained in their station for 1 whole wk!! in the end...she was fined 6000 freaking dollars!!!!!!! omg omg omg....why is their law................sorry but i dun have a fantastic word to describe it... all i can say is...it's just OMG...........argh.....so irritating.....or rather....just dumb!!!!!! *pui*

customs dying off

my new ou xiang!! so handsome...kekekeke...

my blog is becoming more like a primary school kid's...

anyway...another 2 days to cny..kinda excited..but kinda dun wan it to come so soon as well..cuz it means it'll be over soon isnt it...

met up with sis this afternoon for lunch and went for pedicure after that..met caline for dinner at chinatown..shared a bowl of the famous fishball noodles, 12 guo ties and a plate of zhu cheong fun..went to chinatown after that...walked and walked..we didnt find walkng enuff so we continued our journey from chinatown all the way to bugis and finally took bus from bras basah to go hm...she's currently staying at grandma's plc as her new home isnt ready yet..so we can take the same bus back..grandma's plc is at loyang..

hmm..fickle minded mum hadnt made up her mind if she is goin to msia on sat..which means the venue where i'm going to have my tuan yuan fan (reunion dinner) is now unknown..poor me...

ok...just got to know tat many youngsters nowadays dunno many chinese customs...

1) that children stay awake and welcome chu yi which is the first day of cny..they stay awake on the eve for as late as possible to wish that parents will have longer lives...

2)The presentation of oranges during Chun Jie is basically a southern Chinese ritual, arising from the fact that the Cantonese pronunciation of oranges "gam" has the same pronunciation as "gold". When visiting one's relatives and friends, it is a must to bring along two or even four oranges as gifts. Because the Chinese believe that even numbers signify happy events while odd numbers are only used for unhappy events, New Year gifts are always presented in pairs.
As a sign of respect to one's elders the oranges should be presented with both hands. Since the recipient also hopes that the presenter would have good luck in the coming year, it is customary for the recipient to present two oranges when the visitor leaves.

customs and traditions are slowly dying off this generation..but i certainly hope i will be able to pass it on to as many generations as possible...

happy valentine's day

happy v-day to all of you..here goes the history of St.Valentine's day.

On the ancient Athens calendar, the period between mid-January and mid-February was the month of Gamelion, dedicated to the sacred marriage of Zeus and Hera. In Ancient Rome, February 15 was Lupercalia. Plutarch wrote: Lupercalia, of which many write that it was anciently celebrated by shepherds, and has also some connection with the Arcadian Lycaea. At this time many of the noble youths and of the magistrates run up and down through the city naked, for sport and laughter striking those they meet with shaggy thongs. And many women of rank also purposely get in their way, and like children at school present their hands to be struck, believing that the pregnant will thus be helped in delivery, and the barren to pregnancy. The word Lupercalia comes from lupus, or wolf, so the holiday may be connected with the legendary wolf that suckled Romulus and Remus. Lupercalia was a festival local to the city of Rome. The more general Festival of Juno Februa, meaning "Juno the purifier" or "the chaste Juno," was celebrated on February 13-14. Pope Gelasius I (492-496) abolished Lupercalia. Some historians argue that Candlemas (then held on February 14, later moved to February 2) was promoted as its replacement, but this feast was already being celebrated in Jerusalem by AD 381. The pope also declared in 496 that the feast of St. Valentine would be on February 14.

i noe it's boring to read it but realised that many..or rather.. majority of us celebrate Valentine's day without knowing the history and the actual meaning of the day itself..valentine's day had became so commercialised that business men used this day to make profit by selling flowers which cost ridiculously expensive and every restaurant will be packed with lovey dovey couples and of cuz they'll have set menus which are costly as well..

for me..i believe we can celebrate valentine's day everyday...the men can buy flowers for their gfs or wives everyday to say i love you..why must it be on valentine's? strange...no logic at all.....if only valentine's day can remain as pure as AD496....
