All he wants is a little attention

it hasnt been a fantastic lunar new yr this time round...having visitors who are nt close isnt a very welcoming thing for me..all becuz of ruski...

he's very attention seeking and will always want ppl to touch him and show him affection...but the way he seek for attention is somewhat unacceptable for ppl esp my mum. he tends to bark loudly and jump on ppl but they do not understand his intention.once you begin to slowly caress him..he'll settle down and lick you...his intention is not to be unfriendly or fierce towards strangers.

i hate the idea of muzzling dogs esp when they're harmless and has no intentions to bite anyone but of all ppl, my mum, has to suggest that and even threatened not to keep the dog when i commented 'please la' to her. come on...he's been here for more than 4mths! dont anyone understand his character even now?

yes, undeniably, ruski may be agressive sometimes..esp when he's eating..never touch him..but all he wanted to do is to protect his food..he's fine when you give him snacks as he knows it's a treat for him.

ppl may say i'm being protective of him....but only God knows what he had done for me when i was really down and crying at night...he was sleeping in my room..and out of a sudden when i was crying..he came to me and lick my face and snuggle with me to slp! i cried even more as i was so touched for what he did..but will anyone believe what he had did for me?not even someone closest to me....only i know.....

i really hope ppl will try to understand him and for those who do...pls try to convey this to ppl who dont and not side with them and feigning ignorance...it's very disheartening..
